A three-member bench of the Supreme Court of Pakistan headed by Justice Faqir Mohammad Khokhar on Friday directed acting SSP Islamabad, Sultan Azam Taimuri to ensure arrest of four absconders including suspended SHO Golra Police Station Khalid Virk in a fraudulently transferred house case.

According to notice issued by the Supreme Court on Thursday, acting SSP Islamabad, Sultan Azam Taimuri appeared before the Apex court and informed the court about latest position of the fraudulently transferred house case.

The Apex court comprising Justice Faqir Mohammad Khokhar, Justice Mian Shakirullah Jan and Justice M. Javed Buttar directed acting SSP to arrest all the four absconders of the case otherwise action would be taken against him (acting SSP) through higher authorities of Islamabad police.

The Apex court fixed September 01,2004 as next hearing date of the case and asked acting SSP Islamabad to go through relevant files and appear before the court after having background knowledge of the case.

The Apex court took serious notice for appearing before the court with out preparation about the case. "It is unbelievable that a suspended SHO is out of reach of Islamabad police." The Apex court asked Assistant Advocate General Punjab, Afshan Ghazanfar to hand over relevant files to acting SSP Islamabad for preparation of the case.

The court also directed Islamabad police to trace whereabouts of Dr Fawad Wazir Bhatti who is reportedly working with PIMS and involved in the same case.

According to details of the case, Dr Mohammad Saeed living in Germany purchased a plot No-24, St. No-28 Sector F-10/1 in 1974 and then built house at the said plot.

Twenty persons with the support of the local police entered the said house in year 2003 and kicked out Ashiq, a relative of the owner of the house who was living there for years on behalf of the owner.

Later, the said house was transferred in the name of Abu Bakar Hamdani with the connivance of 13 persons including a director, deputy director and four other officials of Capital Development Authority (CDA), Station House Officer (SHO) Golra Police Station, Khalid Virk and others.
